Macharia Irungu appointed new Kenya Pipeline boss

Petroleum and Mining CS has appointed Gulf Africa Petroleum Corporation MD Macharia Irungu as Kenya Pipeline Company boss.

Irungu replaces Joe Sang, who resigned early this year over loss of 21 million litres of fuel valued at about Sh2 billion.

Hudson Andambi has been acting MD since December 2018.

Irungu has worked at Gulf Africa Petroleum Corporation for six years.
